In Total Drama , Izzy 's red hair is more toward the orange end of the spectrum—the color of fire—to emphasize her pyromaniac tendencies. However, her drivers license states she has green eyes.

In most Death Note fanworks where Matt is featured, he will have red hair and green eyes and, of course, a much larger role than he ever had in either the anime or the manga. Much of her character plot in the game focuses on her surprising subversion of gender roles, so it's possible this coloration was picked for that reason.
